LORD, WHERE ARE YOU?
Lord I heard of a sick child yesterday, Please go and be with him. And God said to me, "If you go, I'll be there."
And there is a sick man depressed. Lord, do something for him. And God said, "If you help him, I'll help him."
Look Lord, there's death in the air. Please go and comfort that family. And God said, "If you go, I'll go."
Lord, one of your children is discouraged. Can't you do something to pick him up? "You visit him -- I'll go with you."
Hunger, Lord, listen to the hungry people. If 5000 were fed by your son -- do it again. He just said, "You give them food -- I'll feed them."
People are starving for the Word, too. Teach them. He replied, "Go teach, then I can teach."
Lord, look, people are naked. Will you cover them? He said, "Take them some clothes, then I'll cover their nakedness."
The strangers--travelers--homeless. Don't you see them? "I see. Your house is my house; I'll be with them there."
Finally, his message soaked through my skull. I heard. FINALLY.
Lord I see. You are where we are. You help those we help.
