Many of you have already been working and supporting our upcoming gospel meeting with Glenn Colley. I personally do not buy into the idea that the day of the gospel meeting is over – ANYTIME the gospel is preached it will do the work God intended for it to do. The difficulty lies in us – will we be committed to seeing the gospel preached? Will we support it with our time, and prayers? Will we invite our friends and neighbors? Can we see how much depends on us? What are some things that will help our gospel meeting?

A ttend Every service - Hebrews 10:25
B ring others with you to every service – John 1:40-42
C ooperate in every capacity – Titus 3:1
D evote yourself fully to the success of this spiritual endeavor – Matthew 6:33
E xamine yourself in the light of each lesson presented – 2 Corinthians 13:5
F aithfully receive each lesson presented as the Word of God and not the word of men – 1 Thessalonians 2:13
G ather your friends and relatives together as Cornelius did in order that they might hear the Word of the Lord – Acts 10:24, 27, 33
H ear with the view of believing and obeying the soul saving message – Romans 10:13-15
I nvestigate the lessons by a daily study of the sacred scriptures – Acts 17:11
J oyfully blend your voices with other Christians in singing the sweet songs of spiritual Zion – Psalms 100:1-2, Isaiah 2:2-3
K indly greet every person present and make him or her welcome – especially our visitors – Proverbs 18:24
L end encouragement for others to accompany you to worship the Great God of heaven – Psalms 122:1; Isaiah 2:2-3
M eet with Jesus and His people at each service – Matthew 18:20
N eglect no opportunity to support the meeting in every way – James 4:17
O bey the gospel during this series if you are not already a Christian– Romans 10:9-17; 6:17-18; Mark 16:16; John 8:24; Luke 13:3; Hebrews 5:8-9
P romptly be present at every service – Romans 12:11
Q uench not the Spirit’s message from the Bible as the preacher gives it at every service – 1 Thessalonians 5:19
R everently participate in all phases at every service – Hebrews 12:28
S et your mind on things above and continue that profitable habit onward – Colossians 3:1-2
T reasure up the truth of God which shall be spoken – Psalms 119:11
U tter a daily prayer for the meeting’s success – Colossians 4:12
V ow to build up yourself in the most holy faith – Jude 20
W orship the Lord you God at each service in the beauty of holiness – 1 Chronicles 16:29; Psalms 29:2
X-cuse yourself from none of these services – Luke 14:27-31
Y ield yourself with selfless consecration and total dedication to this effort – Romans 6:13
Z ealously promote this good work – Galatians 4:18
