Unique Church: There Is A Church That Is Unique

There Is A Church That Is Unique!

The Dictionary defines "unique" as "being the only one, being without a like or equal" (Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary, copyright 1981, p. 1270).

• There is a church that is unique from Atheism in its belief in the existence of God.
• There is a church that is unique from Paganism in its belief in the one true God.
• There is a church that is unique from Judaism in its belief in Jesus Christ as the promised Son of God.

Most of the Catholic and Protestant world agree with these three statements. Yet, have you ever wondered why there is still so much religious confusion? Jesus prayed for our unity (John 17:20-23). So, how could God be pleased with our division?

This church is unique because of its respect for the complete authority of God’s word, because it teaches the same plan of salvation the Apostles taught by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and because it still worships God according to His pattern laid out in the New Testament. We will explore these important concepts further in the weeks ahead.

Can you imagine what the world would be like if we were really united? Such unity is possible. Jesus prayed for it...let’s make it happen!
