REMEMBER THE SICK

RANDY ALLEN is now at home and was able to be at services Sunday morning.  He will continue to go to doctors for his Parkinson's disease.

BETHANY BAILEY has been sick at Douglas County Hospital with pneumonia.

SHEILA BUICE went to the doctor about her Graves Disease and she will go to the doctor March 29 to schedule her thyroid operation.

FRANCESCA COWAN had surgery and will be at home for some time.  She was able to be with us Sunday.

RICHARD HOLBROOK is taking radiation treatments for his skin cancer at Emory.

ASHLEY HULSEY went to Duke University Hospital on March 8; she had a bronchoscopy Wednesday at Kennestone Hospital.  She is in room 413 Green.  Doctors think she may have some auto immune disorder that is attacking her lungs, and they have not ruled out boop. Treatment options may be chemotherapy for the rest of her life.

GEORGIA LAYNE,  Joy Freeman's and Sue King's aunt, has shingles and skin cancer and is in the hospital.

JIM NETTLE, Jerry Anderson's brother in law, has cancer.

BRUCE STROUD is back at home after being in Emory with a blood clot in his heart, as well as atrial fibrillation. His new medicines have kicked in and are starting to hold his heart rate even.

TEDDY JACKSON, a cousin of Dwayne Watson, has pancreatic cancer.

JOSEPHINE PAYNE, sister of Fred Campbell, had a heart attack and was treated at Cobb Hospital, then transferred to St. Joseph's where she had another heart attack.  They need to do open heart surgery, but due to her age (82) and weakness they can't at this time.

MARCH 27 As part of outreach to the local community, we will be offering personal bible studies here at the building on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.  Please see Eric if you are interested in teaching, assisting, or observing.

MARCH 28 Youth Devotional After Evening Service in the fellowship hall.  Hosted by Tommy and LaRheasa Tidwell.

PHILIP GOAD of Heritage Christian University will be speaking to us Sunday evening about the school and those who attend to become better teachers and preachers of the gospel.  Philip is Carl Goad's son (Carl used to preach at Olive Street Church of Christ).

JUNE 6--12 CAMP INAGEHI.  Our week of camp has changed this year to the first week of camp.  Please make plans now to work around this so vacations and other events will not get in the way of camp.  The Theme this year will be "FAITHBOOK -- WHAT IS ON YOUR PROFILE?

JULY 21-24  VBS at South Cobb.  The Theme is GOD'S CREATION; DIGGING FOR ANSWERS.  We will need the help of everyone to make this successful. 

MAY 28-29, 2010  MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT SEMINAR HERE AT THE SOUTH COBB CHURCH OF CHRIST!  Glenn and Cindy Colley will be conducting this seminar for families on this date.

LADIES BIBLE CLASS

Please support the Ladies Bible Class that meets here at the building each Tuesday morning at 10:00 am.  The study is on Faith, Virtue, Knowledge, Temperance, Patience, Godliness, Kindness, Charity, and Abundance.
