REMEMBER
THE SICK
MARINA
BEACH is scheduled for a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy
on February 17.
AMBER,
TIFFANY AND SHEILA all have a sinus infection, and Amber may have an
ear infection in the ear that was recently operated on. They were able to be
with us Sunday.
SHEILA
BUICE has been diagnosed with Graves disease.
DANNY
CAMPBELL, Fred Campbell's brother, is in Cobb Hospital
having stents put in his heart due to blockages.
MANSEL
CARPENTER, former preacher at Clarkdale and Liberty Hill, has
recurring cancer.
FRANCESCA
COWAN had surgery this last week and will be at home for
some time.
BRENDA
COX is doing well, but continues to go to the doctor to
try to regulate her blood pressure with her meds to keep from rejecting her new
kidney.
JEAN
CRIBB continues her struggles with pneumonia.
MICHAEL
HOLBROOK, Richard and Gail's son, had an emergency
appendectomy Monday. His wife and
daughter have also been very sick at home.
RICHARD
HOLBROOK is scheduled to begin radiation treatments for his
skin cancer at Emory this week.
ASHLEY
HULSEY is going to Duke University Hospital for a series of
tests to try and finally determine what her respiratory problems are and the
treatment options.
JACKSON
HULSEY had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy on February 5,
but is doing well at home at this time.
JESSE
PETERS is over his pneumonia but doctors won't do surgery on him until
March. He may have yet another ear
infection at this time.
MELBA
SHINHOLSTER slipped on a patch of ice and fell and broke her left foot.
JENNIE
STUBBLEFIELD had an MRI run on the bones of her foot and doctors
found that she has tendonitis and a cyst in one of her joints.
RICKY
AND RHONDA TURNER, Sue King's daughter and son in law, have been sick
at home.

MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT SEMINAR HERE AT THE SOUTH COBB CHURCH OF
CHRIST! Glenn and Cindy
Colley will be conducting this seminar for families on this date, and we want
to encourage everyone to be here for that!
This is for newly married as well as older couples, and also insights in
child rearing and parenting will be included.

6--12 CAMP INAGEHI. Our week of camp
has changed this year to the first week of camp. Please make plans now to work around this so
vacations and other events will not get in the way of camp. THANKS!

received a thank you note from Sherry Shi, associated with China Mission from
the Peachtree City Church of Christ. She
recently came and spoke to the Ladies Bible class, and many of the ladies
contributed to her ongoing work in China among Chinese orphans.
We
also received a thank you note from Eva Lou Satterfield for all the church did
for her in the loss of her husband, James.

The
Raintree Village Children's home truck will be in our area Monday March 8. They have the following pressing needs:
Canned fruit
juices -- orange, grape and apple; Ranch dressing; Decaf tea; Reg/Decaf
coffee; baby wipes; diapers, newborn; Luv's size 3; Garbage bags -- 30-33 gal.;
Furniture polish; Mandarin oranges; Assorted baby foods; snak-foods; microwave
popcorn; pull ups, sizes 2/3; dishwasher detergent; saltine crackers and
pop-tarts.
They desperately need the following items:
Liquid
laundry detergent
Canned
Fruit juices
Hamburger
Helper.
They cannot use CANNED VEGETABLES or expired foods.
Please
bring whatever you can from the above list so that we might be able to give
them what they need. South Cobb has
always done an outstanding job with this -- let's do it again!
