REMEMBER
THE SICK
AMBER
BUICE has a
growth on the outside of her eardrum.
She had surgery January 13,2010
at Scottish Rite and doctors removed a growth in her middle ear, and well as
did some other work. She will probably
have to have surgery again in six months. She is in room 202.
SHEILA
BUICE has
been diagnosed with Graves disease.
BRENDA
COX is
going to Piedmont everyday to get her blood pressure under control with the
meds she is taken to keep her body from rejecting her kidney.
JEAN
CRIBB has
been very sick at home with a bacterial infection, and now has pneumonia.
BO
GRAY, former
member at South Cobb, had back surgery at Kennestone Hospital for spinal
stenosis. Everything went well and he is
recuperating at home.
ASHLEY
HULSEY is
continuing steroids for respiratory problems.
She will be going to Duke University Hospital for a series of tests to
try and finally determine what her problems are and the treatment options. Doctors think she may have ALPHA 1 INTERSTITIAL LUNG DISEASE, a genetic lung
disease that resembles emphysema.
MARY
WHITE, former
member at South Cobb, fell and dislocated both of her shoulders, and had to
have surgery on her knee. She is in
Delmar Gardens, room 9219.
James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick?
Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will
save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he
will be forgiven. NKJV

A
great new year's resolution would be to support the Ladies Bible Class that
meets here at the building each Tuesday morning at 10:00 am. This week
the study will begin Faith, Virtue,
Knowledge, Temperance, Patience, Godliness, Kindness, Charity, and Abundance.
Ladies you are missing a great blessing if you are not part of this class. Pray
for this class and on Tuesday mornings at 10, let's let Christ know we are
doing for Him what we can!
SOME
PARENTS SAY!
"We
will not influence our children in making choices and decisions in matters of
religion!" But why not?
The
ads will!
The
press will!
The
movies will!
The
neighbors will!
The
forces of sin will!
The
politicians will!
We
use our influence over flowers, vegetables, cattle . . .Shall we ignore our own
children? May God forgive us if we do!
