OUR SICK
JOYCE BOBB'S HUSBAND, BYRON is undergoing treatment for cancer, but was able to
go back to work this week.
THE BUICE FAMILY is back in Georgia.
After some initial treatments of experimental meds, they found that some
of these meds reduced the ammonia levels in their blood. Sheila was sick Sunday and was unable to be
with us!
FRANK ESTES, husband of Peggy, has been
suffering from kidney stones.
BILLIE FRADY has been in a lot of pain,
and has been going to orthopedists and rheumatologists.
ASHLEY HULSEY'S doctors are running tests for possible heart problems
at this time. She is taking some medicines that do seem to be helping at this
time.
HALEIGH LAFAYETTE is out of Scottish Rite and doing better after another
bout of sickle cell anemia.
EVA LOU SATTERFIELD has osteoarthritis and will
see a vascular doctor soon. Her husband,
James, will see a kidney doctor soon.
VIRGINIA SPIVEY (Irene Lindsey's sister),
has advanced liver cancer, and doctors have given her 2- 4 months to live.
MELBA SHINHOLSTER is having trouble with
sciatica and some neck problems.
ANN STROUD has been suffering with
shingles.
BRUCE STROUD was out Sunday due to a
pulled back muscle and is in pain.
JACKIE STUBBLEFIELD will have surgery on her back June 30th at Cobb
Hospital. Surgery is scheduled for 4:15

We
extend sympathy to the family of CLYDE CARSON, who passed away last
Saturday from bone cancer. His memorial
service was held Tuesday at the Douglasville Church of Christ.
We
also extend sympathy to the family of VIRGIL HOLCOMBE, Irene Lindsey's
brother, who passed away Monday morning.
The memorial service was held Saturday in Centre AL.

in the Air Force.
JON SHIPP is on temporary duty station in
Fort Worth, TX. We need to remember him
and his family at this time.

On the first and third Saturday
of each month Eric will be going to "Luke's Place" and passing out literature
and encouraging Bible studies. If you
want to participate, please be here each Saturday morning at 9:00 AM.
BIBLE
CAMP IS HERE! Please remember our campers and staff as we are at camp this
week.Junior
Day Camp is also July 13-17 from 9AM--4 PM. We
will be providing supper tonight at camp, and services will be held at Bible
camp tonight! We look forward to seeing
you at camp tonight!

GA AGAPE'S CHANGE FOR CHILDREN program is back.
Please pick up a can, place your name and address in the can, and have
it ready for pickup in September. Last
year we gave an outstanding amount that helped GA AGAPE -- let's do it again!
VBS IS COMING!
We
will have our VBS this year beginning July 22-25. The Theme is BIBLE SUPERHEROES! Use this as an opportunity to invite friends,
neighbors and relatives to come and be with us!
Also, we need shoe boxes and all of our
empty towel rolls for crafts for VBS.
Please bring them each week as you can!
