SICK AND IN NEED OF PRAYERS
• CLYDA AVANT has been sick at home with ear problems, but will go to the doctor February13 to take care of them.
• BARRY BROADWAY has been diagnosed with lymphoma, and a type of leukemia.
• TIFFANY BUICE has a broken ankle on her right leg. Amber continues to get better from her broken left leg. SHEILA has been suffering from Migraine headaches, and had an MRI run this last week. She will find out the test results next Monday.
• HERSHEL CAPES is now being treated for diabetes and high blood pressure problems. The meds have made him sick.
• DORA COLE is now back at Carestone after a brief stay in the hospital.
• DOMENIC AND PAT COMISSIO's Son in law, Angelo, has been diagnosed with cancer, and he will be treated soon.
• BRENDA COX was able to be with us Sunday, and we rejoice in that!
• EVELYN DANIEL continues in Presbyterian Village in rehab, and is doing some better.
• ROBIN DURRETT, Irene Lindsey's daughter and Cindy Hulsey's sister, is being tested for possible thyroid cancer.
• CODY HESTER, a friend of the Fincher's, has been diagnosed with leukemia.
• GAIL HOLBROOK is having problems with bronchitis, and electrical problems in her heart. She will be going to a neurologist and an endocrinologist soon.
• ASHLEY HULSEY continues to have problems with her lungs, and after all the tests run doctors still do not know what they are dealing with. Doctors want to do an open lung biopsy.
• LINDA JAMES, sister of Susan Jackson, has been diagnosed with recurring cancer and is taking chemotherapy.
• TERESA AND "LITTLE TERESA" JONES are Alan Jones mother and sister. They live in Los Angeles, and Alan asks that we pray for them and their salvation.
• BRUCE LEFEVER, a friend of Jerry Anderson's is continuing to improve after having had a stroke.
• JOYCE MANNING, a friend of the Allens, has had chemotherapy treatments to treat a mass in her lungs.
• CATHY PETERS, Jeremy Peters mother, is back in the hospital due to problems associated with her Bi-Polar disorder (manic depression).
• JEREMY AND CELESTE PETERS will have another baby boy soon, and we wish them the best. The baby is due in April.
• PAT SCHINALL, friend of Margie Gattis, is awaiting a liver transplant.
• ABBY SMITH, 3 year old friend of Michael and Nancy Walker, has a brain tumor and a tumor in her spine that is inoperable.
• CHRIS STROUD is in need of our constant and continued prayers, as he is in the Douglas County Jail. His address is William Chris Stroud, Douglas County Jail, Annex Dorm D Bed 5 6840 West Church Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.
• JON AND TAMI STROUD are expecting their fourth child in March.
• JACKIE STUBBLEFIELD went back to the doctor and her case is being reviewed and other doctors are being consulted. She will have more MRIS run and doctors will make a final determination.
• DC TIDWELL, Tommy's father, is now on medicines for congestive heart failure.
• ELJENA TIDWELL, Tommy's aunt, had open heart surgery Thursday in Florence. She was moved to a room Tuesday, and will have to go for rehab next week..

• KYLE HAMRICK, Tommy's niece's husband, is in the USMC. He returned to the USA on December 4.
• ISHMAEL GORDON is in the Navy and is assigned to Pearl Harbor. He is now in the Persian Gulf for six months.
• AMANDA KNIGHTEN (formerly Amanda Wall) is in the Air Force.

• PRAY FOR RAIN; PRAY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOST JOBS; PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY; PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY; PRAY THAT THE CHURCH REALIZE HER RESPONSIBLITIES AND PREACH TO THE WORLD; PRAY THAT EACH OF US BE KINDER, HONEST AND VICTORS IN THE DAILY FIGHTS THAT WE FACE! PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!
• Ladies Bible Class is every Tuesday at 10:30 am in the dining hall of the building. All ladies are invited to participate.
• JON STROUD needs volunteers for Youth Devotionals through 2009. If you are interested in hosting a Youth Devotional, please see Jon. Thanks!
• FEBRUARY 14 - VALENTINE BANQUET here at the building 6:00 PM. Men will be preparing dinner for the ladies. If you need a ride, please see one of the deacons or elders. There are sign up sheets on the bulletin board for you to participate.
There will be a youth devotional February 15th after evening services at the home of Dwayne and Margaret Watson.

There will be a FISHERS OF MEN class beginning March 1 at the Macland Road Church of Christ. This class will be held each Sunday evening beginning at 7:30 PM. If you are interested please see Tommy, as he will be teaching this class.


RAINTREE VILLAGE CHILDREN'S HOME FOOD TRUCK WILL BE HERE MARCH 9, 2009!
They need the following items: Sugar; cake mixes/frostings; shortening; salad dressings; mayo; aluminum foil; furniture polish; dishwashing/dishwasher detergent; bathroom cleaners; fabric softener sheets; air fresheners; feminine products; bleach; microwave popcorn; cream of chicken soup; chicken broth; body wash; cooking oil; body lotion/baby lotion; new bath towels. They desperately need canned fruit drinks; paper towels/toilet tissue; new bath towels and cold medicines.

AREA EVENTS
• February 20-21 Gospel Meeting at the Piedmont Road Church of Christ with Neil Richey, their new preacher, preaching. Time of the services is 7:00 PM each evening.
• March 14 - Piedmont Road Youth Rally! Time begins at 9:00 AM
