IN NEED OF PRAYER
•BARRY BROADWAY was diagnosed with lymphoma and was at Cobb Hospital Wednesday to have a lymph node removed so doctors will know what treatment options are available.
•AMBER BUICE is scheduled to be fitted for hearing aids on Monday. The Buice family is traveling this weekend and has asked for prayers for a safe return.
•KAY CAMACHO, a daughter of Randy and Marice Allen’s neighbor, is suffering from kidney failure.
•BOB DAVIS is undergoing a variety of tests for his health problems.
•EDDIE GOUGH, son of Francis Gough, has been diagnosed with cancer. He has a tumor on his thymus gland and another in his back. He has been taking chemotherapy every three weeks, and the tumors have shrunk down to one-forth of their original size. He will have further tests in another week to see how things are.
•KATHERINE HESTER, a family friend of the Maupin’s, is awaiting a liver transplant.
•GAIL HOLBROOK recently had open heart surgery to replace a valve and do a bypass. She was moved to Brian Care Center in Austell Friday for rehab.
•DAVID JACKSON is having a lot of dizzy spells, and doctors are running tests to see if he has kidney stones again.
•FRANK LINDSEY was in Cobb Hospital Friday having a procedure done to open up his renal artery going to his left kidney. It was not successful.
•GLADYS LIPSCOMB, Alene Grier’s mother, has a rapid heartbeat and her doctor is trying to lower it with medication.
•DAVID LUTZ, brother of Jackie Stubblefield, has cancer in his bones, lungs, lymph nodes and throughout his body. He has had a difficult time with the chemotherapy treatments.
•JEREMY & JENNIFER MILLS are the proud parents of JOLIE BROOKE MILLS, born at 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 27 at Kennestone Hospital. She was 19 and 1/4 inches long and weighed 7 pounds and 1 ounce. Everyone is doing fine!
•MARY ROSS, cousin of Buddy Maupin, is suffering from lung cancer.
•PAT SCHINALL, friend of Margie Gattis, is awaiting a liver transplant. She is having further tests at Emory University at this time.
•ABBY SMITH, the 3-year-old daughter of friends of Michael and Nancy Walker, has a brain tumor and another tumor on her spine that is inoperable.
•JEAN STUBBLEFIELD, sister-in-law of Jackie Stubblefield and aunt to Larry and Jennie, is unable to get a kidney transplant and is now very sick.
•LARRY STUBBLEFIELD is still in pain from the broken collarbone he suffered in a wreck recently. Doctors found that the bone has not knitted together, and there is a half inch gap between the bones. All that is holding it together is the rod they put it, and this is why he is still suffering pain.
•We have had many responses to the invitation lately, and in this we rejoice. Joey Buice came forward and asked for prayers and encouragement on March 16. Barry Broadway came forward March 30 and asked for our prayers as he goes through treatments, and as he struggles with sin in his life. ALAN JONES placed membership with us Sunday morning, and JOY EGERTON placed membership with us on March 23. And finally, we rejoice that ISHMAEL GORDON was baptized into Christ on Wednesday evening.
