IN NEED OF PRAYER
•CLYDA AVANT had a serious sinus infection, but is feeling better.
•BARBARA BALLARD, LaRheasa Tidwell’s mother, will go to the hospital next Friday to hopefully clear the blockages in her heart. She has seen another cardiologist, and he thinks that he can help her.
•AMBER BUICE will have to be fitted for hearing aids.
•SHEILA BUICE fell and hurt her leg, which may require surgery.
•BOB DAVIS will undergo a variety of tests this week.
•WILLA FREEMAN is sick at home.
•EDDIE GOUGH, son of Francis Gough, has been diagnosed with cancer. He has a tumor on his thymus gland and another in his back. He has been taking chemotherapy every three weeks, and the tumors have shrunk down to one-forth of their original size. He will have further tests in another week to see how things are.
•KATHERINE HESTER, a family friend of the Maupin’s, is awaiting a liver transplant.
•GAIL HOLBROOK had open heart surgery to replace a valve and do a bypass on Friday, March 14. She is now in room B708 at Kennestone Hospital, and is doing very well. She does not have pneumonia at this time.
•MIRACLE HOWARD, granddaughter of Linda Nowon, is sick at home with pneumonia.
•DAVID JACKSON is having a lot of dizzy spells, and doctors are running tests to see if he has kidney stones again.
•GLADYS LIPSCOMB, Alene Grier's mother, has a rapid heartbeat and her doctor is trying to lower it with medication.
•DAVID LUTZ, brother of Jackie Stubblefield, has cancer in his bones, lungs, lymph nodes and throughout his body. He has had a difficult time with the chemotherapy treatments.
•JEAN RICHARDSON, sister of Annie Turner, is losing her sight. Doctors are trying to stop her blindness, but nothing has worked at this time.
•MARY ROSS, cousin of Buddy Maupin, is suffering from lung cancer.
•PAT SCHINALL, friend of Margie Gattis, is awaiting a liver transplant. Margie and Pat are discouraged and are both in need of prayer .
•ABBY SMITH, the 3-year-old daughter of friends of Michael and Nancy Walker, has a brain tumor and another tumor on her spine that is inoperable.
•JACKIE STUBBLEFIELD had two cortisone shots in her neck this week and is still in a lot of pain with neck and back pain.
•JEAN STUBBLEFIELD, sister-in-law of Jackie Stubblefield and aunt to Larry and Jennie, is unable to get a kidney transplant and is now very sick.
•LARRY STUBBLEFIELD is in severe pain from the broken collarbone he suffered from his recent wreck. He had tests run recently to find out the extent of nerve damage.

•Everyone should have received calls this week from the pre-recorded calling tree. We have 2 months to try the service, and then it will be $15 a month. Please let us know what you think of the service as your feedback will determine our participation. If you did not receive any of the messages or would like the message to go to a different number than the one called, please let LaRheasa Tidwell know so she can make necessary changes.
•Everyone is encouraged to attend “Sunday Night for the Savior.” at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Sunday nights of the month. Come and help us as we visit and strive to do the work of the Lord.
•The Ladies’ Morning Bible Class meets on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. All ladies are invited to participate.
•A weight loss support group meets Tuesday at the building at 9:45 a.m. in the ladies’ Bible classroom. If you are interested, please come and see how everyone encourages one another.
•Romeka Middleton and Ishmael Gordon would like to invite everyone to celebrate with them at their wedding ceremony on June 28 at the Macland Road Church of Christ building at 3 p.m. Due to the capacity limits there will be a private reception for the family. They are registered at Target, Wal-Mart, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Macy’s.

The school’s spring quarter classes began last Tuesday. Classes include 1 Corinthians, Life and Work of the Preacher, The God Head, and Christian Evidences. On Thursday evenings, Bible Geography, Acts of the Apostles, 2 Corinthians and Psalms and Song of Solomon. It is not too late to register. Registration forms are on the table in the foyer.

The Lithia Springs Congregation is hosting the singing at their building at 7 p.m.
