SICK AND IN NEED OF PRAYERS
•AMBER BUICE will have to be fitted for hearing aids, and Sheila asks that we remember them in our prayers. She is going through major testing for hearing. Tiffany is sick with the bug going around. Sheila fell and hurt her leg, and may have to have surgery!
•PEGGY ESTES has pneumonia and is taking breathing treatments four times a day.
•DOROTHY FOWLER, Susan Jackson’s cousin, is now in hospice. Doctors have told her that they have done all they can to defeat the cancer.
•EDDIE GOUGH, son of Francis Gough, has been diagnosed with cancer. He has a tumor on his voice box and one in his back. He has been taking chemotherapy every three weeks, and the tumors have shrunk down to ¼ of their size.
•KATHERINE HESTER, a family friend of the Maupin’s is awaiting a liver transplant.
•GAIL HOLBROOK is in Kennestone Hospital, room 705 with a bacterial infection in her blood. The infection is on a valve in her heart now, and as soon as they get some fluid off of her lungs, they will perform surgery to replace the valve, and take care of a blockage in one of her arteries. She is in need of our constant prayers.
•DAVID LUTZ, brother of Jackie Stubblefield, has been diagnosed with cancer in his bones, lungs, lymph nodes and over his body. He is having trouble with his chemotherapy, but is doing very well at this time.
•KALE RENFROE, Darlene Pirtle’s cousins 3 year old son, may have cancer, and the family asks that we pray for him.
•MARY ROSS, cousin of Buddy Maupin, is suffering from lung cancer.
•PAT SCHINALL, friend of Margie Gattis, is awaiting a liver transplant.
•ROBIE TROUT, Linda Nixon’s father, is in the hospital in Paris, TN., with congestive heart failure. He is not doing well at this time.
•ABBY SMITH, 3 year old friend of Michael and Nancy Walker, has a brain tumor and a tumor in her spine that is inoperable.
•JEAN STUBBLEFIELD, sister in law to Jackie Stubblefield and aunt to Larry and Jennie, is unable to get the needed kidney transplant, and is now very sick.
•LARRY STUBBLEFIELD continues in pain from the broken collarbone he suffered in a wreck recently. He had tests run this week to find out the extent of nerve damage.
•GERALD WASHINGTON, Laurel Bierley’s father, had hip surgery and is in the St. Mary’s Hospital in rehab in Lewiston, NY.
MADDIE KENDRICK, Linda Nowon’s mother, passed away Thursday morning. Her body is at the Gus Thornhill Funeral Home in East Point, GA. Her funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Drive in Atlanta.

•Our 4- 6th Grade class is collecting items for our military. The box is in the foyer in the back – please stop by the box and see what they need, and help out in giving some goodies from home for our service people overseas.

•Ladies Bible Class – The ladies will continue at 10:30 AM each Tuesday.
•There is a weight loss support group meeting every Tuesday here at the building at 9:45 AM. The ladies meet in the Ladies Bible class room to encourage one another in their weight loss goals.
•We encourage everyone to attend SUNDAY NIGHT FOR THE SAVIOR. This was formerly Monday Night for the Master, and, in an effort to get more people involved, we will be meeting at 5:30PM on the 2nd and 4th Sunday nights of the month. The next meeting will be March 9th. Come and help us as we visit and strive to do the work of the Lord.
•PRAY FOR RAIN – and PRAY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOST SOME JOBS RECENTLY! PRAY PRAY PRAY!
•THERE WILL BE A DIAPER/BABY SHOWER FOR JENNIFER MILLS AND BABY on March 8 beginning at 10:30 AM. It will be at the building. Please see Michelle Novitch for more details.
•CAMP INAGEHI has a fund raiser called HEART OF THE MATTER in which any and all money will go toward physical camp improvements. If you can help, please see Jon Stroud.
One of our members has recently moved and needs a sofa, washer, and dryer. Please let one of our elders or deacons know if you have either of these items you would like to donate or sell.

•Mark your calendars, Saturday, March 15th will be our first big workday at camp INAGEHI and the gate will open at 9:00AM . It is time to start our spring cleaning the grounds. This can be a great Youth Group Service Project. Please make plans for your congregation to join others at the camp that day. Come when you can, we will be there all day. Please bring leaf blowers, rakes, tarps, tools, weed eaters and mowers.
•GA SCHOOL OF PREACHING will begin their Spring Quarter on March 20. Classes being offering on Tuesday evenings are 1 Corinthians, Life and Work of the Preacher, The God head, and Christian Evidences. On Thursday evenings Bible Geography, Acts of the Apostles, 2 Corinthians and Psalms and Song of Solomon will be offered. Registration forms are on the table in the foyer.
•MARCH 20 WEST COBB CHRISTIAN ACADEMY will be hosting a benefit featuring JEFF FOXWORTHY. The time 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the Macland Road church of Christ, 2732 Macland Road, Marietta. Ticket Pricing: $75 Comedy show only $150 Platinum Ticket Package- includes premium seating for show, exciting pre show autograph and photo session with Jeff Foxworthy, and scrumptious catered dessert bar. 50.00 tickets are for public service personnel and the military.
