SICK AND IN NEED OF PRAYERS
•RANDY AND MARICE ALLEN are not feeling well and are at home.
•JANE BAXTER, Charles Shipp’s sister, is now at home in hospice care.
•AMBER BUICE will have to be fitted for hearing aids, and Sheila asks that we remember them in our prayers.
•HERSCHEL CAPES is sick at home with pneumonia. If he is not better tomorrow he will have to go to the hospital.
•DORA COLE has been unable to be with us the last two weeks, and now has someone helping her at home.
•EVELYN DANIEL is some better, but is still afraid to get out until some of the flu has subsided.
•CHASE ELSNER, Denise Shipp’s nephew, is in Scottish Rite Hospital with a drug induced coma because they cannot stop his seizures. Neurologists do not know why he is having seizures. He is hooked up to a ventilator. He is 1 ½ years old.
•DOROTHY FOWLER, Susan Jackson’s cousin, is now in hospice. Doctors have told her that they have done all they can to defeat the cancer.
•EDDIE GOUGH, son of Francis Gough, has been diagnosed with cancer. He has a tumor on his voice box and one in his back. He has been taking chemotherapy every three weeks, and the tumors have shrunk down to ¼ of their size.
•KATHERINE HESTER, a family friend of the Maupin’s is awaiting a liver transplant.
•GAIL HOLBROOK continues her struggles with rheumatoid arthritis. This is affecting her organs, and is why she stays sick with bronchitis and other problems. She is in need of our constant prayers.
•RANDY HULSEY is recuperating at home after having had an abdominal abscess removed.
•TERRY HULSEY, Randy’s brother, is at home after having colon surgery. He will be at home for 4-6 weeks recuperating from that, and hopefully be able to have surgery to reconnect the colon.
•DAVID LUTZ, brother of Jackie Stubblefield, has been diagnosed with cancer in his bones, lungs, lymph nodes and over his body. He is having trouble with his chemotherapy.
•BERNICE MOSS, Michelle Novitch’s aunt, fainted and fell and broke a vertebra in her neck.
•MARY ROSS, cousin of Buddy Maupin, is suffering from lung cancer.
•PAT SCHINALL, friend of Margie Gattis, is awaiting a liver transplant.
•ABBY SMITH, 3 year old friend of Michael and Nancy Walker, has a brain tumor and a tumor in her spine that is inoperable.
•GAIL STEWART, family friend of Marcia Anderson, is in Dekalb Medical Center with fluid on her lungs. She has been in the ICU, but is now in a room and doing some better.
•CATHERINE STIGER, one of the twins born to MIKE AND BETH STIGER (brother and sister in law of Susan Stroud), had heart surgery on December 20th, and was released and sent home last week.
•JEAN STUBBLEFIELD, sister in law to Jackie Stubblefield and aunt to Larry and Jennie, is unable to get the needed kidney transplant, and is now very sick.
•LARRY STUBBLEFIELD continues in pain from the broken collarbone he suffered in a wreck recently. MRI’s have shown that he does not have a torn rotator cuff, so doctors are attributing the pain to nerve damage. He also had a tooth pulled and has pain from that.
•GERALD WASHINGTON, Laurel Bierley’s father, had hip surgery and is in the St. Mary’s Hospital in rehab in Lewiston, NY.
•THOSE WHO HAVE A COLD OR FLU INCLUDE Shirley Glosson, Peggy Estes, Jon Stroud and his entire family, Lexann Johnson and the boys, Irene Lindsey, Susan and Ava Stroud, and Michael, Nancy and Cameron Walker.
