NELSON’S NOTES
by Nelson Galarraga
We rejoice in the Lord for all the wonderful things that are happening at South Cobb and Central church. Let me share it with you:
We have finished a series on Sundays called “Church Growth in the 21st Century.” Many members have been encouraged by the series and eager to proclaim to word of God among Hispanics. We have married couples coming on Friday nights at Smyrna to learn more about God’s plan in marriage; we had a total of ten couples attending the activity last week (4 couples are not Christians).
Also, some of our teens are inviting other non-Christian teenagers to fellowship at the Hickory Lake Apartment on Friday nights too. We usually finish all activities around 9:30 pm.
Attendance is 32 every Saturday night at our Bible home studies. On Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., I counsel an average of ten people.
Some of our men are attending a series of studies in leadership right after our evening worship at Central. In total, I am studying the Bible with three couples and following up with ten others using new correspondence Bible courses.
Please continue praying for us; we always pray for you.
